Dr. Robert Koser is board certified in Family Practice. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Maryland, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, and then furthered his medical schooling at the University of the Caribbean, receiving his Doctor of Medicine Degree.

His post-graduate medical school training was done at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, where he completed his residency in Family Practice Medicine. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice since 1985, and was recertified in 1991 and again in 1997.

Some of the Doctor's areas of interest and public speaking include: Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes, Osteoporosis, Asthma, Alzheimer's Disease, Hypertension, Peptic Ulcer Disease, COPD, Pneumonia, Migraines, Epilepsy, Neuropathy, Allergic Rhinitis.

Dr. Koser recognizes the importance of community based geriatric home care. To serve as an extension of his practice, Dr. Koser has partnered with the Visiting Nurses Association whose mission is to be the very best at senior care management. This partnership allows Dr. Koser to have a qualified senior care team to look beyond the obvious need of his senior patients through a comprehensive assessment process. Under Dr. Koser's supervision, the Visiting Nurse's Association senior care program is designed to promote maximum health and functional well being for senior citizens. The program is designed to encourage and empower seniors toward independence and to provide an active and meaningful life.

Dr. Koser is a certified FAA Examiner, and is a health advisor for the Take Shape For Life nutritional weight control program.

He is an attending physician at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton Florida, and currently resides in Bradenton with his family.
